Tamer Hassan says his character has an "epic" impact in the upcoming new series of Game of Thrones.
The 47-year-old actor portrays a Dothraki warrior in season six of the HBO fantasy drama and although he can't give away any spoilers he has teased his alter ego's actions will have massive ramifications on the main characters.
Speaking to website Loaded.co.uk, Tamer shared: "I play a Dothraki warrior, a leader ... It's not a regular role or a major role but the impact of what I do is epic ... What I do affects the main characters. Really, it's massive. A lot of people around me die. I didn't die."
Tamer has been trying to get cast in Game of Thrones for years and is pleased the producers were finally convinced he was right for the show.
He added: "I actually was a little bit angry because I've met for Game of Thrones for every season but it never worked out. When you look at the show, how do I not fit in? It's just one of those ones that I could never seem to get, until now."
