Former hellraiser Liam Gallagher has turned his back on his wild ways after quitting booze at the beginning of the year.
The ex-Oasis rocker was famed for his drinking in the band's heyday, but after 20 years of heavy partying, the 38-year-old decided to stop boozing on New Year's Eve - and hasn't touched a drop since.
"I haven't had a drink since New Year's Eve. I'm having a bit of a break. I went 20 years drinking and messing about. It's rubbish," he told British TV host Alan Carr.
And he reveals that he was so drunk after Oasis' first night of their legendary shows at Knebworth House in England in 1996, he woke up with no memory of his performance.
"At Knebworth I thought we were doing one night and we were doing two. I got that mashed (drunk) on the first I woke up to a knock on the door and thought I was at home. I forgot all about it," he said.
"But I had to go and do it again. That was heavy."
