A fisherman has been found drowned in his own net. The local Japanese community provides a murder suspect - another fisherman and one who holds a grudge. Also stars Max von Sydow, James Cromwell and Richard Jenkins. (2000)

Gus Van Sant satirises television and the desire for fame in this dark comedy starring Nicole Kidman as the devious Suzanne Stone.
