Freeview viewers will have another viewing option from Saturday with the launch of Choice TV which bills itself as a "broad appeal" channel with an "exciting" range of programmes.
At first glance, it seems the channel, which is based out of Top Shelf Productions is offering a schedule that's a mix of Sky's lifestyle channels like Living, Food and Travel with British shows dominating the weeknight line-up.
Each evening will be themed - Monday is "our world" (natural history and travel); Tuesday is property and design; Wednesday, the great outdoors; Thursday, food; and Friday offers up home and garden programming. Primetime weekend programming will include the 2010 BBC Wales eco-thriller series The Deep on Saturday and Canadian young doctor medical drama Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures on Sunday.
Choice TV can be found on Freeview channel 12. More info can be found on their Facebook.
