Shia LaBeouf has been involved in some pretty strange activities in recent years.
Shia LaBeouf's arrest and bonkers tweet over the weekend is the latest in a series of bizarre incidents involving the Transformers star. We've rounded up five of the weirdest things he's ever done.
1. I am not famous
In 2014 Shia LaBeouf appeared on the red carpet for the premiere of his movie Nymphomaniac Volume I at the Berlin Film Festival wearing a brown paper bag on his head. The bag had eye holes cut out and "I am not famous anymore" scrawled across the front.

That's not all. During a press conference for the film the star also quoted French footballer Eric Cantona, saying: "When seagulls follow the trawler it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea."
During a long weekend in February last year, LaBeouf sat in silence in a room where anyone could come and watch him during his #IAMSORRY art installation performance. Again LaBeouf had a paper bag over his head and sat at a table with objects laid out in front of him on a table. Some referred to his movies, like an Indian Jones-styled whip. Many people came and took photos with LaBeouf, or just spoke with him. Some reported that the actor was very emotional and crying during the performance. Later LaBeouf claimed that one woman raped him.

The star has also taken part in other performance art pieces including one where he ran around
LaBeouf was involved in Rob Cantor's "Shia LaBeouf" Live performance, featuring The Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles. The performance portrays Shia LaBeouf as a scary killer in what feels like a horror-thriller story through music and dance. The song's lyrics include: "Running for your life (from Shia LaBeouf) / He's brandishing a knife (It's Shia LaBeouf) Lurking in the shadows / Hollywood superstar Shia LaBeouf / Living in the woods, (Shia LaBeouf) / Killing for sport, (Shia LaBeouf) /Eating all the bodies / Actual, cannibal Shia LaBeouf." The actor appears near the end of the video, giving the performance a standing ovation.
4. Just do it!
In June this year LaBeouf made a 30-minute long motivational video. Standing in front of a green screen LaBeouf yells "Just do it!" while flexing his muscles. "Don't let your dreams be dreams," LaBeouf said. "Yesterday, you said tomorrow - so just do it. Make your dreams come true."
That's not the only long, random video LaBeouf has been in. In an interview for Dazed and Confused magazine LaBeouf decided he didn't want to talk, so instead sat down with the interviewer - both with go pro cameras strapped to their heads - and stared at each other for an hour.
5. A reminder that Shia LaBeouf's weirdness can be cool
The actor starred alongside dancer Maddie Zielger in Sia's strange music video for her song Elastic Heart. The beautifully shot clip sees the pair face off inside a cage where they battle each other through dance. The video faced backlash from people claiming that the clip had pedophilia elements, which Sia apologised for on Twitter.
"All I can say is Maddie and Shia are two of the only actors I felt could play these two warring 'Sia' self states," Sia said, explaining that the two actors were performing as the same person, showing an internal struggle. She later wrote: "I apologise to those who feel triggered by Elastic Heart. My intention was to create some emotional content, not to upset anybody,"
