1. All is not perfect in the world of Keisha Castle-Hughes. New Zealand's Whale Rider star is leaving her hubby of 12 months behind for the bright lights of Hollywood. But don't worry, Jono Morrison plans on joining his wife just in time for Christmas. It's been a tough old year for the pair who moved to the States straight after getting married, but were forced back to Auckland to live with his parents when the work - and money - dried up. By the time they had realised they'd rushed into marriage, it wasn't a pretty picture apparently. "We went to the doctors straight away and he diagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of our whirlwind courtship, getting married, moving overseas and then coming home broke," Jono tells Woman's Day. "If I don't get drama in my work, I just create it in my life," Keisha chips in. Fingers crossed second time's the charm.
2. The GC is back and hotter than ever, looking at New Idea's two-page, skin-baring photo shoot. All 10 key cast members have whipped off their clothes for the spread, ending speculation of just where the line between undies and togs falls. In fact, main man Tame uses the opportunity to push his "topless waitering" business, KiwiRize. But perhaps more importantly, Rosanna and Zane reveal they have a new puppy with the unfortunate name Ne-Yo. You know what they say guys; next stop, babies.
3. Meanwhile a couple who have been known to dress up as babies are back to cause trouble. To celebrate the start of the show's third season, New Idea took the boys from Jono and Ben at Ten to Grey Lynn's basketball courts, along with offsiders Rose Matafeo and Guy Williams. But the foursome reckon this one will be the hardest seasons yet - it's tricky to surprise people when your faces are all over TV and billboards. "[It's] the exact same problem the band U2 faces," Williams tells the mag, who thinks if they blackmail her, they might just get Lorde to make an appearance. Good luck with that one, buddy.
4. He's known for exposing dodgy builders on Target, but Brooke Howard-Smith is getting soft in his old age. The 41-year-old tells New Zealand Woman's Weekly that making it snow in Kaikohe for new TV show Cadbury Dream Factory turned him into a cry baby. "The payoff for the whole town was beyond anything I had imagined. By the end of it I was bawling like a sook," he says. Howard-Smith's own childhood dream though? To become a gardening television presenter. Better watch out, Maggie Barry.
