Fading Gigolo, in cinemas now
Even though Godzilla may be swooping in, causing chaos and destruction everywhere this week, there are still other more intriguing-looking films opening today. Fading Gigolo sees John Turturro in writer/director/actor mode, teaming up with Woody Allen to tell exactly the tale suggested by the title. Both in search of some extra cash, the pair stumble into the world's oldest profession - Allen as the manager, Turturro as the goods - and realise there's a market for the attention they can lavish on curious women, played by Sharon Stone, Sophia Vergara, and Vanessa Paradis.
