First photo of Lamar Odom since he was found unconscious in brothel

Former basketball star Lamar Odom has been pictured for the first time since his hospitalisation from a drug overdose.

The 36-year-old was captured at Christmas with his two children in a touching family selfie, posted by his 13-year-old son Lamar Odom Jr, and captioned: "Christmas with pops."

Odom was rushed to hospital in Las Vegas in October after he was found unconscious in a brothel near Las Vegas.

He had reportedly been using cocaine and viagra.

He has been recovering at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

It's not clear from the picture whether Odom is still in hospital room, though his son and daughter, who are also in the shot, had evidently joined him for the holiday season.

Khloe Kardashian, Odom's estranged wife, reportedly flew the children to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles.

An insider told E!: "Khloe flew Lamar's kids out to LA so they can spend time with him."

She is said to have visited him several times herself over the holiday period.

odom's recovery has been a slow one. He is said to have taken three steps without his walker two weeks ago.
