True Blood actor Alexander Skarsgard has been making heads turn after the release of the first image of him as Tarzan for the upcoming film The Legend of Tarzan.
In The Legend of Tarzan, set for release mid next year, Skarsgard takes on the role of the man raised by gorillas and his return to Africa, alongside Australian actress Margo Robbie (Suicide Squad).
Photos USA Today has released shows Skarsgard standing shirtless in the rain.
Talking to USA Today, Skarsgard revealed that the movie is "almost the opposite of the classic tale, where it's about taming the beast. This is about a man who's holding back and slowly as you peel off the layers, he reverts to a more animalistic state and lets that side of his personality out."
