The final film in the Harry Potter series is to be released in 2011, it has been confirmed.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II will be released on July 15, Warner Bros has announced.
The film studio opted to split the seventh and final Harry Potter book into two parts, rather than cram its 608 pages into one feature film.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I will hit screens in November 2010.
Potter fans were left disappointed last August after it was announced that the release date for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince would be pushed back to July this year.
The studio said the decision was made to take advantage of Hollywood's busy summer blockbuster season.
