The Film Commission has announced an annual scholarship programme for women, as suggested by acclaimed filmmaker Jane Campion.
The programme will offer scholarships in areas of the screen industry where not many women work. It will be championed by a different female filmmaker each year.
The first scholarship is in cinematography.
