A group of Fifth Harmony fans just made such a scene outside the studio where the group was doing an interview, one of them ended up getting invited in.
The group of around 20 fans turned up at NZME headquarters in Central Auckland having all met on Twitter, rallying around 19-year-old Ina Manama - an apparent unofficial leader of Fifth Harmony's Kiwi fan club.
They spoke in excited screams and gave impromptu - yet rehearsed - performances of Fifth Harmony hits like Work From Home, while they waited in the wind and rain.
They'd spent the previous night waiting for hours at the airport and later at the group's hotel for a glimpse of singers, of X-Factor US fame.
