A fan attending the Firefly Music Festival found more than they bargained for after stumbling across human remains, it has been reported.
Stereogum reported a fan attending the festival - headlined by The Weeknd, Muse, Twenty One Pilots and Bob Dylan - found skeletal remains near the festival site in Delaware's capital city, Dover.
"The preliminary investigation has determined at approximately 7pm, Thursday, June 15, human remains were discovered as a subject walked through the wooded area east of Leipsic Road near Marley Lane," said a police report.
"The subject contacted troopers and notified them of the discovery. Detectives responded to the wooded area and confirmed them to be human skeletal remains."
The festival boasts 140 acts playing across nine stages over four days.
