No, we have not long waved goodbye to all the festivals. Australia's largest winter musical festival, We Love Sounds, is coming to Auckland for the first time, for Queen's Birthday Weekend (June 4).
The festival, formed seven years ago as a collaboration between Ibiza outfit We Love Space and We Love Music in Australia, is known for bringing the world's biggest names in electronic music to the Southern Hemisphere.
This year's headliners are Underworld, who have been at the forefront of electronic music for two decades, and kooky Italian duo Crookers, who have made a name for themselves working with Kanye West, Will i. am, Chemical Brothers, U2 and Beyonce.
Los Angeles' Steve Aoki and Holland's Laidback Luke will be joined by local sounds from the likes of Minuit, The Naked & Famous, Pig Out and Karn Hall.
