Fast & Furious 7 has continued to outpace its competitors at the North American box office after holding on to pole position for a fourth consecutive weekend.
The latest sequel in the street-racing franchise, starring Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker, raked in another US$18.3 million (NZ$24 million) to remain at No.1, becoming the first movie to dominate the box office for four weeks in a row since The Hunger Games in 2012.
Comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 was the No.2 movie with US$15.5 million in its second weekend on release, while Blake Lively's The Age of Adaline opened at No.3 with US$13.4 million in takings.
