The movie IT could have a whopper of a problem in Russia.
Fast food outlet Burger King has filed a complaint with Russia's Federal Anti-Monopoly Service (FAS) with a demand that the horror film be banned.
The company claims that the movie's protagonist Pennywise the clown closely resembles McDonald's clown mascot Ronald McDonald and therefore the film works as an advertisement for the brand.

The Hollywood Reporter spoke to a FAS spokeswoman who confirmed that the complaint had been received and was currently being evaluated as to whether the movie contained McDonald's advertising or product placement.
