Award-winning singer/songwriter Greg Johnson will play an impromptu farewell gig this Monday, at Auckland's Kings Arms, before flying back to America.
The New Zealand-born artist relocated to Los Angeles in 2002 where he collaborated with the Dandy Warhol's producer Clark Stiles on the album, Here Comes the Caviar.
Last year Johnson garnered widespread acclaim with his seventh studio album, Anyone Can Say Goodbye, which featured the radio-friendly hit Now the Sun Is Out.
Johnson and his band will be joined by local melodic rockers Gasoline Cowboy.
Tickets are $20, available on the door. Doors open 7pm.
