Fans struggle with Spider-Man's Captain America cameo

Spider-Man has made an appearance in the new trailer for Captain America: Civil War - and fans have lost their minds.

It's the first chance fans have had to see the new-look webbed wonder, who is played by 19-year-old British actor Tom Holland.

The new trailer for the May film shows Spider-Man making a surprise cameo appearance near the end, nabbing Captain America's shield with his webbing.

Chris Evans, who plays Captain America, typified fan reaction when he said the trailer "broke my brain".

Other fans struggled to deal with the superhero crossover.

Some even suggested it made the Batman-Superman crossover in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice look "dumber than ever".

After that cool, exciting trailer for Captain America, Batman V Superman looks even dumber. Classic Spider-Man looks great, IMO.
