A new documentary about Kurt Cobain's hard life has left fans in tears.
Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last month. The film from director Brett Morgen uses material from the Cobain's personal archives in an in-depth examination of the Nirvana frontman's childhood, music career and untimely death.
The film screened at the Berlin Film Festival last weekend and left viewers visibly upset.
Courtney Love, who was married to Cobain at the time of his death, says people were crying.
"I just came back from Berlin. It's anguish. It's very moving. I've seen it now three times, and I'm probably not going to see it again. It's too much," Love said during an interview on the Late Show with David Letterman.
