Lorde's new single Magnets officially debuted on fellow Kiwi Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show today and fans have been quick to give it two thumbs up.
The track, which is a collaboration with English electro duo Disclosure, was leaked last week ahead of its official release.
In an interviewwith Lowe, the 18-year-old said she felt an instant chemistry with the pair, before giving a progress report on her own upcoming album.
Lorde has teamed up with Disclosure.
"The challenge for me as a songwriter is, 'How do I tell all these friends that I've made around the world how I'm feeling, while still making something they can listen to and relate to going to college and leaving home or whatever?'" she told Lowe.
