A Rolls-Royce owned by former Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury is to go under the hammer.
The 1974 Silver Shadow was bought by Mercury's managing company Goose Productions Ltd in 1979 for his personal use.
A letter in the car's file confirms it was bought for the star and continued to be used by him until his death in November 1991.
The vehicle was last used for the premiere of the Queen musical We Will Rock You in 2002 and is accompanied by a thick history file containing various bills and receipts and the current MoT certificate, which is due to run out next month.
The silver Rolls, which has just 62,000 miles on the clock, is expected to sell for between £9,000 and £11,000 (A$13,895 and A$16,983)
