Oprah Winfrey has ruled out joining the ranks of celebrities who have adopted children from other countries following the opening of her school for poor children in South Africa.
The talk show queen said that while she admired stars who have adopted children she had no plans to follow suit.
"I want the children to still be connected to their family," she said.
"But I applaud anybody who does anything to save a child."
