Fallout 4 confirmed with impressive trailer

Bethesda has confirmed it is releasing a sequel to one of its most successful franchises, Fallout.

The game studio today confirmed it would release open-world game Fallout 4 with an impressive YouTube trailer.

The studio didn't issue a release date, but said more details would be announced at game expo E3 later this month.

Released in 2008, Fallout 3 was universally acclaimed for its open world setting in a nuclear-ravaged future. A sequel has been rumoured for a long time.

The new trailer received plenty of praise on Twitter.
