Faith No More are on their way back to New Zealand for two shows in February.
The New Zealand concerts were hinted about on Twitter in early October by bassist and founding member Billy Gould but 11 years after calling it quits the band have confirmed they will play Westpac Arena in Christchurch on February 16, and Vector Arena two days later.
In a statement the band said: "We are still young and strong enough to deliver a kickass set, with enthusiasm to not only revisit our past but possibly add something to the present. And so with this we've decided to hold our collective breaths and jump off this cliff back, God forbid, into the monkey cage."
Tickets go on sale November 9 from Ticketmaster (Auckland) and Ticketek (Christchurch)
Meanwhile, former Boyzone star Ronan Keating will be in New Zealand for three shows, including an A Day On the Green concert at Villa Maria Estate Winery in Auckland on February 7 with the Peter Urlich Sextet and Melbourne-based Kiwi Matt Joe Gow.
