KEY POINTS:
Next Tuesday prepare for carnage on Queen St because the lads from Fall Out Boy will be meeting their fans live at Real Groovy Records.
The day after the band's show at Trusts Stadium in Waitakere, the band will be signing autographs from 3pm to celebrate the release of the platinum version of their latest album, Infinity On High. You'd better get in line early - no doubt the keen ones will head straight down there after the gig - because only 250 people will be allowed in the door.
Meanwhile, in other music news Motorhead is putting on an extra show in New Plymouth on October 20 at TSB Stadium (they also play the night before). And fans, make special note, all those who buy a ticket get a special souvenir "Motorhead Taranaki" T-shirt. Get in there, or be "killed by death".
The latest Kiwi band to reform is 90s indie-pop guitar band Garageland. In 1997 they released their excellent debut album, Last Exit To Garageland, with classic tunes like Fingerpops, Come Back and the beautiful, Nude Star.
To hear those songs and more, get along to the Kings Arms on November 10.
Speaking of reforming, the original line up of Supergroove play two shows on October 26 and 27 before they support Crowded House.
