Eminem's new album will be released in November and will be a throwback to his early days as a rapper, if two new song snippets are to be believed.
The rapper shared the news during a Beats by Dre commercial that aired during the MTV Video Music Awards, revealing his first LP since 2010's Recovery would hit shelves on November 5.
Fans won't have to wait that long as Eminem also announced his first single, Berzerk, would debut on Tuesday.
Appearing to give a taste of the track, Eminem spits in a new clip posted on his website: "Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch/I'm about to bloody this track up, everybody get back/That's why my pen needs a pad because my rhymes' on the rag."
The new album, Marshall Mathers LP 2, is a follow-up to Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP, released in 2000.
