When other two-year-olds might have been tucked up in their cots or left with nanny, Zachary showed that, like his father, he is very much a party animal.
Instead he happily high-fived U2 singer Bono as Elton showed him off to the assembled company, including Britney Spears, Sharon Stone, Jim Carrey, Naomi Campbell and Heidi Klum.
In his miniature dinner suit, his red hair cut into a floppy bowl cut, Zachary looked like a miniature version of Elton. The youngster was born to a surrogate mother on Christmas Day 2010, and has since become one of the most famous celebrity children around.
He now has a baby brother to play with, although at just a month-old it will be a while before Elijah is joining him at parties.
Despite their devotion to their sons, David recently revealed that the family was now complete. In an interview Mr Furnish, 50, said: 'We're done. That I can confirm. No more. We're complete.'
Both Zachary and Elijah were born by the same surrogate mother, but the couple have chosen not to reveal her identity. Mr Furnish described Zachary as a 'really happy little guy'.
It was the 21st party Elton has run to raise money to fight AIDS. The 1,300 guests dined on a five-course dinner prepared by Gordon Ramsay. Among the after dinner auction items were four private concerts by Sir Elton that sold for £180,000 each.
