Our feelings about Katy Perry's trainwreck stream of jokes and skits as the host of this year's MTV Video Music Awards has been perfectly summarised by one perfect look from Ellen DeGeneres.
During the show, Perry had been hinging all her jokes on the idea that she'd been off in space for a year, and had just returned and needed to learn how to be a pop star in 2017 (which seems a little close to home for her, but that's neither here nor there), when she popped up on stage with a fake baby strapped to her chest.
After explaining that she'd just learned having a baby was the new 'It' trend on social media, Perry enthusiastically introduced her new doll.
"This is Bella, sponsored by Fit Tea!" Perry announced, as the camera flicked to the audience for their reaction.
