The Press Complaints Commission in Britain has upheld Elle Macpherson's complaint that Hello! magazine violated her privacy by publishing pictures of her with her children on a private beach.
The commission decided that Macpherson had a reasonable expectation of privacy because the pictures were taken while the family was holidaying on Mustique, a private island in the Caribbean.
The magazine's editor must write an apology to Macpherson and never use the pictures again.
