Do you feel you're getting a bit old to take part in Easter-egg hunts? Well, this may change your mind.
At Easter, 100 giant eggs created by some of New Zealand's best-known artists and designers will be hidden across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch for 33 days, all in the name of charity.
The Whittaker's Big Egg Hunt, based on a similar hunt in London in 2012, invites adults and children to find 100 one-of-a-kind eggs, either for fun or to compete for the under-wraps grand prize.
Some of the notables to design eggs include Dick Frizzell, Dame Trelise Cooper and Denise L'Estrange-Corbet.
After the eggs have been found they will be auctioned off, with the proceeds being handed to the Starship Foundation.
