Edward or Jacob? Celebs take sides in Twilight debate

As the premiere of the second installment of the Twilight saga New Moon draws closer, the burning debate that has divided millions of fans heats up. Do allegiances lie with the handsome, mysterious and intense vampire Edward Cullen or with the dark, kind and loyal werewolf Jacob Black? The question seems to be plaguing celebrities in America, with most keen to share their opinion.

TEAM EDWARD

Audrina Patridge: "I want to meet Edward"

Jennifer Love Hewitt: "There is not a girl in this world who's not Team Edward. Have you met girls who are not Team Edward? Well they are not girls! They're aliens from another planet who should not be allowed to exist."

Joe Jonas: "For a lot of guys they want superpowers. [Edward] is a vampire, but he's pretty strong and stuff."

A.J McLean (Backstreet Boys): "I'm Team Edward...Jacob's gotta sneak in there."

Will Ferrell: "I'm kinda Team Edward, I'm kinda Team Jim. I'm kinda Team...Stanley."

Stephanie Pratt (The Hills): "I had issues with Jacob - that he was just manipulating [Bella] and messing with her, especially when Edward came back in the picture...I feel bad because I think I take it out on Taylor (Lautner aka Jacob). I hate Jacob."

Selena Gomez: "I have to choose one of them? I don't know, I guess Team Jacob, because I want to be a good friend."

Emma Roberts: "Finished ALL the Twilights...team Jacob."

Taylor Swift: "Team Jake."

Kristen Stewart: "Objectively, from the outside, she should be with Jacob...She's best friends with him. He's warm, it's easy, there's no problems there."

Nikki Reed: "[Jacob] is warm and sweet and kind and loves [Bella] exactly the way she is...so I guess you could tell which 'team' I would be on."

Looks like the modelesque Edward wins this round, but who will get the girl? They're both so perfect....
