Hideo Kojima's first post-Konami game is entitled Death Stranding, the game director announced at Sony's E3 2016 presentation.
Following an incredibly dramatic presentation, Kojima announced, "I'm back!" before revealing the first trailer for his new title.
After opening with an excerpt from a William Blake poem, the trailer depicts a nude, crying Norman Reedus (of TV's The Walking Dead, and Kojima's cancelled Silent Hills), half-locked in handcuffs and covered in handprints, clutching a fetus to his chest.
He's surrounded by dead whales on a beach, above which hovers a quartet of humanoid figures.
