Living for the first time as the person he feels he was born to be, the episodes will explore what Bruce's transition means for the people in his life and how those relationships are affected.
They hope to offer a better understanding of many of life's challenges.
Each episode will be one hour long and it will premiere on Monday, July 27 - but the title is yet to be announced.
In the famous interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC, which aired on Saturday, Bruce revealed, "for all intents and purposes, I'm a woman".
"Bruce is incredibly courageous and an inspiration, and we are proud to be entrusted with this deeply personal and important story.
"This series will present an unfiltered look as Bruce boldly steps into uncharted territory and is true to himself for the first time."
Jenner has six children of his own; Burt, Cassandra, Brandon, Brody, Kendall and Kylie, as well as four step-children - Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Kardashian.
It had been previously reported that the reality star had put his plans for the series on hold due to concerns over his offspring.
According to TMZ, Bruce has been concerned about how his children would react to the television show being aired.
The site had claimed he wanted them to be "in a good place" before he embarks on the tell-all programme about his transition.
It's also thought that the recent car crash in which he was involved, which saw a woman die after his car struck the rear of her vehicle while in Malibu, has had a strong emotional effect on him.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians executive producer Jeff Jenkins refused to confirm the widely reported stories that Bruce will star in his own spin-off reality show until now.
