Meanwhile, the 43-year-old actor - who plays fire-fighter Ray in the movie - explained what drew him to the role and how working on disaster movies is "hard" to pull off.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I read the script and the script was great. I love the script I thought that audiences would really love seeing this, if we did it right.
"The movie is big, it's epic, there are visual effects. There are all these cool elements in a disaster genre, which is a genre that is a hard genre to get right. We gave it a shot and did something cool."
