It's been 11 long years since The Muppets hit the big screen, and even longer since they regularly appeared on TV.
Thankfully, the decade-long wait to see Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and co back in action has been well worth it.
Directed by James Bobin and starring Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper and pretty much every Muppet you can remember (as well as at least one new one), The Muppets is a musical-comedy romp of the best kind.
It has great music courtesy of Oscar-winner Bret McKenzie, a plot that fits perfectly in these recessionary times, and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments - many of those coming from the film's resident bad guy Tex Richman (Cooper).
It not only pays homage to all those memories you have of your favourite Muppets, it also reinvigorates them - meaning there will almost undoubtedly be a sequel.
