Michael Douglas sets vanity aside to play a hardened womaniser in danger of literally screwing up his chance for a big business comeback in this honest and affecting character study of a thoroughly unpleasant man.

Having squandered his marriage to a good woman (Susan Sarandon), it looks like car magnate Ben Kalmen is about to do the same to his relationship with his adult daughter (Jenna Fischer) when he embarks on yet another inappropriate liaison.
