Singer, songwriter, actress, fashion designer, fragrance owner, TV star and teen idol Hilary Duff met adoring, screaming fans in Sydney before her concert on Saturday night.
A crowd of hundreds gathered at Myer's Sydney city store where the 20-year-old made her only official public appearance outside of her three-concert Australian schedule.
"It's really good to be here again," Duff said, barely audible above the screaming crowd, dominated by teenage girls waving homemade banners.
Duff is earning herself a name as the good girl of stardom with the controversial demise of fellow American singers and actors such as Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan, whose naughty and sometimes naked antics keep them in the headlines.
