Drake hospitalised after brawl with Diddy

Drake has reportedly been hospitalised after an altercation with fellow rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs outside a club in the US.

Sources claim Diddy confronted Drake outside a swanky nightclub in Miami, Florida in the early hours of Monday, and the exchange soon became heated.

The Bad Boy Records boss was reportedly heard uttering, "You will never disrespect me", before losing his temper and taking aim at his rival.

According to TMZ.com, the hit stunned Drake but he did not lose consciousness.

Rick Ross' DJ, Sam Sneak, witnessed the clash and detailed the incident on Twitter.

"Drake at the Hospital ... He dislocated his Shoulder. Yall pray for Drake. Diddy put hands on that boy ... " he posted.

He also dismissed initial reports suggesting the fight was about Diddy's girlfriend, singer Cassie, adding that "it definitely wasn't bout Cassie."

Representatives for Diddy and Drake have yet to comment on the fall-out, which occurred after they both attended a birthday party for mutual pal DJ Khaled.
