India, Iran, Canada and Kenya are just some of the countries represented at the Rainforest World Music Festival, which takes place in the heart of the lush Borneo jungle. Renowned indigenous musicians from all around the globe - including many from Borneo - gather for this inspiring musical and cultural celebration of contemporary and traditional world music. As well as evening performances on the main stage, there are afternoon workshops, lectures, jam sessions and smaller concerts. The festival site buzzes with stalls selling food and drink, arts and crafts, artist CDs, festival memorabilia and souvenirs. Tickets and packages are available online.
