Hours after the almost seven-minute segment aired, in a tweet Trump implied that Saturday Night Live and NBC should face "retribution" over the satirical sketch.
"Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC!" the president tweeted.
"Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows? Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real Collusion!"
Baldwin has been portraying Trump on SNL since 2016.
America's president is extremely sensitive to criticism.
When US morning show co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough criticised Trump in 2017, he resorted to online bullying, making vulgar and deeply personal comments about the pair, but particularly Brzezinski.
"I heard poorly rated @Morning Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came … to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year's Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a facelift. I said no!" the US leader tweeted.
Days later he took aim at the pair again, calling them "Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika".
