KEY POINTS:
LONDON - Pete Doherty, lead singer with the rock band Babyshambles, returns to court next week to be sentenced for seven drug offences, prosecutors said today.
He is also due to face a review of a community order for previous drug offences at the appointment at Thames Magistrates Court in east London on Tuesday.
Doherty pleaded guilty in August to four charges of possessing class A drugs including heroin and cocaine and one charge of possessing cannabis.
The 27-year old self-confessed drug addict, who according to tabloids is still romantically linked to top model Kate Moss, has been in and out of court over the past year.
He had to cancel part of a British tour with his band in October to give himself more time to recover from his drug addiction treatment.
