Billie Piper was questioned by police after the vehicle she was driving collided with a 16-year-old cyclist, who was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The actress, who starred in Doctor Who, was travelling in her black Volkswagen Golf when she reportedly attempted to perform a U-turn on a road behind King's Cross station in London at around 4pm on Tuesday 29 July.
Her two sons, Winston, five, and Eugene, two, where in the back of the vehicle at the time.
According to the Mail on Sunday, she was travelling at under five miles per hour when she came into contact with the cyclist as she crossed Goods Way. It is thought that the male teenager, who was apparently travelling downhill at some speed, crashed into the back of the car, and was subsequently thrown onto the ground.
A witness then dialled 999 and police soon arrived to take statements from Piper and onlookers at the scene of the accident.
