The wait will soon be over for Doctor Who fans in New Zealand - the Time Lord (Peter Capaldi) is returning to our screens on Sunday, September 20 at 7.30pm.
Prime will be showing the new season on the same day as the UK, meaning a minimal wait for eager Whovians.
The end of last season left The Doctor and Clara (Jenna Coleman) having a terrifying Christmas with Santa Claus himself in the North Pole (or did they?) and the season premier sends them straight back into action. In The Magician's Apprentice, Missy (Michelle Gomez) is back to cause trouble. The tables are soon turned when Doctor and Clara need her help to save the day.
