Actress Halle Berry has successfully won a court order banning ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry from straightening their daughter's naturally-curly hair.
The French-Canadian model recently decided to alter little Nahla's look by having her locks tamed and lightened with highlights, but the makeover did not sit well with Berry, who allegedly accused Aubry of trying to hide her African-American roots.
She sent her lawyer Steve Kolodny to court on Monday to object to Aubry's actions as part of their bitter custody battle, and after hearing arguments from both sides, a judge ruled that neither the six year old's mother nor father could change the girl's style, according to TMZ.
Monday's hearing was the latest in the former couple's ongoing fight over custody following its split in 2010.
Berry is seeking to reduce her monthly child support payments from $17,311 to around $4,111, amid allegations Aubry is using the money to fund his own lifestyle after giving up work.
