After making billions at the box office through their female-led solo ventures, Disney is now turning their attention to a male-led feature.
Variety has revealed Disney has brought a script for a live action Prince Charming movie. Their sources say it will be told from the point of view of the prince's brother.
The script is written by Matt Fogel, who is also working on Bob: The Musical for Disney, which will potentially star Tom Cruise.
This marks a change in pace for the studio. Their most recent live-action fairy tales have all revolved around women (Alice in Wonderland, Maleficent and Cinderella), and the studio earned global praise for Frozen, which focused on relationship between sisters.
It is unknown which specific 'Prince Charming' will be featured in the movie. The character has existed in fairy tales since the 17th century, but is most commonly associated with Cinderella due to the 1950 animated Disney classic. Richard Madden played the Prince in this year's adaptation.
