Director Wes Ball has apologised for the injuries actor Dylan O'Brien sustained on the set of the latest Maze Runner movie.
The star was shooting a car scene for the third instalment in the series, ironically titled The Maze Runner: The Death Cure, in Vancouver, Canada, when the stunt went wrong and the 24-year-old was run over.
O'Brien, who plays Thomas, the lead character in the franchise, was admitted to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, including multiple broken bones, for which he is currently receiving treatment.
Ball has taken to Twitter to update fans on the actor's condition, revealing he feels guilty over the accident.
