David Bowie's ex-wife has quit a UK reality TV show just days after she was told of her former husband's death.
Angie Bowie was competing in Celebrity Big Brother when she was informed the music legend had lost his battle with liver cancer on 10 January, but she vowed to press on with the show in the aftermath of the tragedy.
However, she has now walked out a week after she broke down in tears upon hearing the sad news.
Her departure was confirmed by a spokesperson for Channel 5, the network behind the show, who said Angie had fallen sick and left the show due to health troubles.
"After being unwell for a few days, Angie Bowie has decided to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house. Her exit will be addressed in tonight's live show on Channel 5 at 9pm," the spokesperson revealed.
