A number of David Bowie tribute gigs have been arranged after the visionary British rocker's death.
Bowie -- who had hits including Space Oddity, Heroes and Changes -- died aged 69 on Monday NZT following a secret 18-month battle with cancer.
Tribute concerts have been set up to honour the rock star, who inspired many in the music world, including Madonna, rapper Kanye West and Lorde.
In Auckland tomorrow a "celebration of David Bowie", headlined Let's Dance, will be held at Whammy Bar in St Kevin's Arcade on Karangahape Rd from 9.30pm.
"Put on your red shoes and dance the blues. Come along and celebrate the man who was the soundtrack to our lives, with special guest DJs Marty Duda, Tina Turntables, DJ Skinny, Zac Arnold, John Baker, Steve Abel, Kailee Raven, Pennie Black," the advert for the free gig says.
