David Beckham's ideal Christmas present is a set of saucepans.
The soccer superstar loves cooking and is hoping wife Victoria will make his festive wish come true and buy him a top of the range set of non-stick cooking utensils.
He said: "I learned to cook when I was 17 living alone in Manchester. I lived alone for five years and made all my own meals. Now I love cooking for my wife, children, family and friends so I'd love it if they bought me some saucepans or a really good frying pan."
David - who has three sons, Brooklyn, seven, Romeo, four, and Cruz, one, with wife Victoria - is known for his own generosity at Christmas.
Last year, he bought his former Spice Girl spouse a designer Boucheron necklace - which has a pendant made from two huge rubies and diamonds hanging on a chain encrusted with over a hundred rubies – costing £1.2 million.
