Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is set to make a return to drumming on an upcoming Queens of the Stone Age album.
Grohl made his name as the drummer for the legendary grunge band Nirvana in the early 90s before going on to front Foo Fighters after the death of Kurt Cobain.
Queens of the Stone Age singer and songwriter Josh Homme recently told BBC Radio 1 Grohl will join the band on their long awaited album, due out next year.
He will be replacing drummer Joey Castillo, who has left the band for unknown reasons.
The band tweeted out a photo after the interview of a mixing desk with a channel marked off for 'Dave'.
